All components other than the bipolar power supply to operate the electromagnet are in working condition. It needs a bipolar power supply to run the electromagnet. The old bipolar power supply was excessed prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. All of the individual components are Used and operational. As stated previously, a bipolar power supply is needed to restore the instrument to full working condition. A power supply such as model #643 from Lakeshore Cryotronics is capable of driving the electromagnet. Equipment Detail: • Instrument Console, VSM Head, and Computer: 148 kg (325 lbs) 89 x 81 x 165 cm (35 x 32 x 65 in.) • Electromagnet: 250 kg (550 lbs.) 92 x 61 x 109 cm (36 x 24 x 43 in.) Photo available upon request. **Recipient is responsible for transportation costs** NOTE: If items are transported in vehicles trailers with Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR) over 10,000lbs, transportation must be arranged via a registered motor carrier (private or commercial). The carrier’s US DOT number will be requested. This requirement does not apply if the receiving organization has been granted an exemption, or by nature of their business is exempt from complying with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations. Load securement remains the responsibility of the carrier.
